Needless to say, its more pleasing, and the questions are better answered if you assume you are 'God'. Just because it makes you happy, doesn't make it true. Anyway, the obvious follow on to this is what does science say about mankind, and how does this compare to anything obtained from any of the bronze age religious texts.
