First Aid Kit: Wolf

Wolf-mother, where you been?
You look so worn, so thin
You're a taker, devils-maker
Let me hear you sing, hey-ya hey-ya

Wolf-father, at the door
You don't smile anymore
You're a drifter, shape-shifter
Let me see you run, hey-ya hey-ya

Holy light over the night
Oh, keep the spirit strong
Watch it grow, child of war
Oh, keep holdin' on

When I run through the deep dark forest long
After this begun
Where the sun would set,
The trees were dead,
And the rivers were none.
And I hope for a trace
To lead me back home from this place
But there was no sound there was only me, and my disgrace

(Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey) x2

Wayward winds, a voice that sings
Of a forgotten land
See it fall, child of war
Oh, lend a mending hand

When I run through the deep dark forest long
After this begun
Where the sun would set,
The trees were dead,
And the rivers were none.

Wolf Mountain

Tonya Littlewolf has rescued wolves all her life. At a sanctuary in the empty California desert, she looks after 14 majestic wolves which have been rescued from breeders. Yet, as she cares for the creatures, even feeding them mouth-to-mouth, Tonya questions whether these wolves would be better off in the wild. In Florida, a new population of panthers, feared as ambush predators, have been released near to the busy town of Naples.

In the Italian Alps, bears have been reintroduced after they became virtually extinct, and now try to get into people's homes in the middle of the night.

And in Yellowstone National Park, wolves have been brought back 70 years after they were exterminated.

RED

Based on a true fairy tale

As the silhouette of a lonely girl runs through the woods, something in the shadows is lurking her.

RED is an animated short film, which presents a new version of the classic tale Little Red Riding Hood by Charles Perrault. The directors Jorge Jaramillo and Carlo Guillot explore more thoroughly the drama, horror and realism of the story. A journey of feelings and moments, with visual and musical elements existing only to carry a clear and strong narrative.

In RED the directors based on traditional shadows animation, giving it a new perspective by using technology to create a new concept, while maintaining the visual and narrative force of the classic technique.

The production of the film was done almost entirely by the two directors and musician/composer Manuel Borda, who completed the story by reinforcing all emotions through it.
